Construction of an architectural project

A project in collaboration with AUNA Arquitectos.

This modular house, currently in the design phase, was created in collaboration with AUNA Arquitectos. These architecture professionals called on inHAUS to find solutions for a project that was initially complex.

At inHAUS, we accepted this project taking into account the strict specifications and requirements in terms of deadlines and design, both from the end client and from AUNA Arquitectos, who placed their trust in us as the builder and collaborating architect for the project.

A total of 459 m² were built on the ground floor and 668 m² in the basement. The layout is designed so that a family can live together while respecting the individuality and lifestyle of each member. In total, there are three complete bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, each with a relaxation area dedicated to reading. A compact housing programme, for which a solution was proposed for the basement works, with a basement comprising a leisure area and a gym.

An outward projection to make the most of the views, with a cinema room included.

An interior brimming with personality and individuality

The compact, O-shaped layout of this house clearly reflects the client’s lifestyle. The design includes a cinema room and three full suites, where each member has their own space for resting, reading and leisure activities, as well as a dressing room and bathroom.

This allows each member of the household to enjoy complete independence, thereby promoting the coexistence of different lifestyles.

In addition, the house is designed to be as open as possible to the outside in order to take advantage of the views. An open-plan dining room and lounge area is located in the centre of the house.

Inside, contrasting materials are used, with dark tones for the furniture and light tones for the walls and floors to enhance the brightness.

Collaboration process with AUNA Arquitectos

The project was technically resolved in collaboration with AUNA Arquitectos, while remaining in constant contact with the end client. Once the project was known, our main objective was to respond to their tastes and needs.

Before starting the project, we took the time to get to know each other so that AUNA could understand our construction system. We also presented the solutions we could bring to the project, particularly with regard to the execution time, one of the most important variables in this case.

In addition, we were able to discover the firm’s way of working and establish a relationship of trust as architects and builders.

On-site assembly

The modules of this modular house were transported by lorry to Boadilla del Monte, near Madrid.

Victoria Santiago, architect at AUNA architects

We interviewed Victoria Santiago, an architect at AUNA Arquitectos, who recommended inHAUS as the builder for her project.

Victoria emphasises that the two reasons they chose inHAUS were the guarantee of a limited timeframe and a fixed price, as well as the financial benefits that come with it, namely the delivery of the house built in just 6 months.

Victoria adds in the interview:

« One of the main reasons we chose inHAUS was the fixed price and deadline, because we know that in traditional construction, deadlines are never precise. Ultimately, for financial reasons, it’s not the same to receive a home in two years as it is in six months. »
