Mediterranean-style modular house in Valencia

A detached house where Mediterranean materials take centre stage

Maison sur mesure style mediterraneen
Two-storey industrial house in Valencia, custom-designed for a family. A house consisting of four modules with a built area of 296 m². The design was inspired by a model from our 111 catalogue, evolving into a completely customised house after several modifications to the design to make the most of the size of the plot.

Designed as the new home for a young family who, for logistical reasons, decided to take the plunge and move to the suburbs of Valencia. This time, the clients had very clear priorities: speed of execution, comprehensive project management and careful design down to the smallest detail. The inHAUS team produced an architectural proposal with comprehensive management, adapting the model to the client’s needs.

The rooms in this house overlook the pool and garden, promoting a connection with the outdoors. The combination of noble materials such as light-coloured engineered wood, natural stone and white single-layer cladding on the façade characterise this Mediterranean-style project.

Connection between interior and exterior, interior architecture and urbanisation

The house is organised on two levels, with the ground floor designed as the heart of everyday life. Spacious, light-filled spaces open onto the garden, terrace and swimming pool, reinforcing the visual and functional continuity with the outdoors.

The living-dining room and kitchen form a fluid space, designed for everyday use and family life. Large windows allow natural light to flood in and extend the space towards the veranda.

The house also includes additional rooms that enrich the spaces, such as a playroom for children and a guest bedroom, adding versatility to the whole.

The upper floor, intended for the sleeping area, houses two children’s bedrooms, a study and the master bedroom, creating a more private space without detracting from the architectural coherence of the project.

Combination of noble and exclusive materials

The interior of the house reflects a careful selection of materials chosen in collaboration with the clients, with a clear commitment to quality, sustainability and aesthetic consistency.

Light woods predominate in the form of slats and panelling, bringing warmth and light to the spaces. These elements are combined with large-format panels that run from floor to ceiling throughout the rooms, enhancing visual continuity and the feeling of space.

Every design and material decision serves the same purpose: to build a functional, bright and sophisticated house, designed for everyday use and family life.

The customisation of this house in Valencia

Customised design

The design of this industrialised house in Valencia was inspired by the Lugo model from the 111 catalogue and, after several modifications, evolved into a fully customised home. A two-storey detached house, consisting of four modules, designed as a comfortable home for a family.

Its volume opens onto the pool and garden, reinforcing the connection between indoors and outdoors and encouraging outdoor living.

In a contemporary Mediterranean style, the materials combine white single-layer cladding, natural stone and light-coloured engineered wood, as well as eaves and porches that add depth, protection from the sun and balance to the whole.

Plan and layout

Customised design

The house is organised according to a clear and well-defined layout on two levels, separating the day and night areas. The ground floor houses the spaces intended for everyday use, with an open layout and a connection between the interior and exterior. The upper floor is dedicated to the sleeping area. A functional and balanced layout, designed to optimise space and adapt to the family's lifestyle.
