Industrialised home, fully custom-designed for a family of four seeking a functional and generous layout, conceived to maximise outdoor living.
The house is set on a plot of nearly 1,500 m² and offers a built area of 396 m² distributed over two levels. The large 75 m² covered porch is the defining feature of the project. It was proposed by the inHAUS team following an analysis of the clients’ needs, with the aim of enhancing the living spaces.
From the outset, the project has been shaped by the clients’ strong involvement in the design process, resulting in several iterations as the project evolved. Over time, they refined their needs and priorities, allowing the design of their future home to be progressively adapted.
On the ground floor, the living area includes a kitchen independent from the main living room with a large pantry, a spacious open-plan living area organised into different zones, a guest bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a study, and a service bedroom with a private bathroom. On the upper floor, three en-suite bedrooms with individual bathrooms are complemented by a dressing room.
The home is completed by an independent gym, with direct access from the exterior.
The 75 m² covered porch is the key element of the project. It was not part of the initial brief but was proposed by inHAUS after analysing the clients’ needs. It becomes a natural extension of the living room, increasing usable space and extending daily life outdoors.
For the clients, open and outdoor spaces were essential, as they envisioned their future home as a place for gathering and socialising with family and friends. For this reason, an open-plan living space (while maintaining distinct areas) was designed, with strong continuity towards the exterior through large glazed openings and the porch.
The project also includes a gym with independent access from outside, a fully equipped and private space within the plot.
The ground floor accommodates the main living area, conceived as a large social space for sharing moments. The spacious open-plan living room is arranged in an L-shaped layout, creating different atmospheres: a warm area with a built-in fireplace and a more intimate lounge space dedicated to watching television.
There is also a separate kitchen with ample storage capacity, visually connected to the exterior. This level also includes two en-suite bedrooms with private bathrooms (one for staff and one for guests), as well as a study.
The upper floor is dedicated to the family’s private area, with three en-suite bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
Inside, the home stands out for its use of natural materials: natural stone on walls and staircases, and wood in the common areas, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
